YUmMy Mice Buns...a best snack for tea party and iftaar parties..
For Buns:
Egg 1
Flour 2, 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Instant yeast 1, 1/2 tsp
Oil 4 tbsp
Lukewarm water as required
For Filling:
Mince 1/2 kg
Green chillies (chopped) 2
Egg beaten 1
Onion (finely chopped) 1 cup
Spring onion (finely chopped) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
All spice 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
Oil 2 to 3 tbsp
Sesame seeds as required
Cooking Directions
For Dough: In a bowl mix together flour, salt, oil, instant yeast, sugar, egg and knead into a soft dough with lukewarm water, cover and leave it for an hour till rise.
For Filing: Heat oil add mince and ginger garlic paste, fry for 5 minutes.
Add salt, chilli powder, black pepper powder and all spice.
Cover and cook till mince tender and dry.
Cool mince completely add in both the chopped coriander and green chillies chopped.
Roll out the dough and cut into rounds.
Spoon meat mixture into center of rounds.
Fold rounds in half making a half moon shaped, press sides firmly together all the way around.
Place on greased tray let the bun rice for 1 hour brush buns with beaten egg, sprinkle sesame seeds on them.
Bake in a pre-heated oven on 200 degree C for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
