Basbusa(Semolina Cake)

sugar 400g
butter 400g
eggs 6
Semolina 400g
Baking Powder 1tbsp
Almonds(chopped) 3tbsp
For Syrup:
Water 200ml
Sugar 400g
Lemon juice 1tbsp
Rose Water 1tbsp
Cook a little butter and sugar together.then add 6 eggs one by one and beat well using electric mixer,until mixture is creamy.Mix semonlina and baking powder and put this dry mixture in butter mixture and mix together.Now spread this mixture in baking dish and cut into slices with knife,garinsh with almonds and bake in pre heated oven for 30-40 minutes.
To make syrup cook sugar with water, lemon juice,and rose water.Take cake out from the oven and put the sugar syrup on it.Serve hot.
