Bnarsi Aloo

Oil 1/3cup
garlic paste 1tbsp
red chilli powder 2tbsp
turmeric powder 1/4tsp
salt as per taste
fennel seeds 1tbsp
tamarind paste 5tbsp
Tomato Paste 5tbsp
Potatoes half kg
Crushed black pepper half tsp
fresh corriander(chopped) 3tbsp

Heat up oil in a pan and fry garlic paste in it.Now add red chilli powder,salt,turmeric and fennel seeds and fry for 5 minutes.Now add tamarind paste,tomato paste and potatoes and fry for five minutes at high flame.Now add 3 cups of water and cook at slow flame for atleast 20 minutes.At the end add crushed black pepper and corriander and can serve with boiled rice or chapati.
